How the #HashiWorkoutChallenge works…
  • The goal is to learn how to workout for your body with Hashimoto’s! How many times have you joined a group workout or challenge and everyone is getting results, except you because your body works differently with an autoimmune condition? These workouts are specifically designed to get your body moving in 15 minutes or less, without every stepping foot in a gym. These are weight training workouts, but done safely for your joints and your adrenal glands.

  • Workouts are short and sweet.  Fatigue is one of the biggest struggles with Hashimoto’s. I keep the workouts 15 minutes or less and  they are tailored for you body. Not too much cardio, and just the right amount of weight training to focus on our muscles. I also share one lifestyle shift a day to make with Hashimoto’s including: how to eat living with an autoimmune condition, the essential supplements to take, and lab work recommendations.

  • The name of the game is consistency and momentum! How often do we tell ourselves we’re gonna work out and next thing you know, you’re laying down for bed and it just didn’t happen? Maybe you were too tired and fatigued to get it done. Maybe you didn’t know exactly WHAT to do. Maybe you’re afraid of injuring yourself or causing a Hashi flare up. No matter the reason, doing something is better than nothing. I’ll show you exactly what to do, with amazing form, get strong and boost your energy.

  • I’ll share the exact workouts via email. On Monday September 26th, you’ll receive an email a day for 5 days with new Thyroid Strong workouts. They’ll be 15 minutes or less and you’ll be able to pick and choose how hard or beginner you want the workouts to be. You can do the workouts at home with kettlebells. If you don’t have a kettlebell, don’t worry! You can also use dumbbells, sandbags, or even a gallon water jug.

  • Win prizes! I love getting building momentum and consistency with working out with a dash of fun! Everyone who completes all 5 workouts and shares on IG or in our private FB group during all 5 days of the challenge with hashtag #hashiworkoutchallenge will be entered to win prizes, including gift cards, coaching with me and a spot in my Thyroid Strong workout program, starting October 10th!

  • More to come when you register (click the button to join now) and as always, if you have any questions, you can always email me: hello@dremilykiberd.com.

Hi, I’m Dr. Emily!
Hi, I’m Dr. Emily Kiberd, AKA @dremilykiberd!

I’m so excited to have you in this 5-day Hashimoto’s Friendly Workout Consistency Challenge! Let’s get ready to get to work, get results with support and guidance, and finally pave the path to working out consistently.

My personal exercise philosophy living with Hashimoto’s is short duration, lower reps, weight on the heavier side (no pink 5 lbs. weights here), and long rest breaks. This will help you work out without the burn out and maintain muscle while starting to see the pants fitting better.

After 14 years as a chiropractor and rehab specialist, I see so many women living with Hashimoto’s struggling with consistency and accountability (along with their Hashi aches and pains) in their workouts. The #hashiworkoutchallenge was born out of the desire to help us Hashi ladies gain momentum and do it with a team of women, all with the same challenges in their Hashi diagnosis, supporting you and cheering you on!
